Stationary Design
Requirements
1. Logo: please provide it in vector format (EPS, AI or PDF).
2. Data for the letterhead and/or envelopes: address, phone, fax, URL, etc.
3. Style of the stationary: minimalist, formal, feminine, etc. If you have a website or any marketing material, it will be helpful to see them so I can create a consistent look.
4. Dimensions and printing requirements: although in the printing industry there are some standards, each printing company has specific requirements. It is vital to have these requirements prior to creating your letterheads and envelopes so the work doesn't have to be done twice. Don't have a printer yet? No problem! I can have your pieces printed with high quality and very affordable prices. Why do I have discounted prices for printing?
5. Initial deposit: I request an initial deposit of 50% to start working on your business cards.
Process
1. I send you an initial set of 2 letterheads and/or envelopes.
2. You send me your feedback.
3. If the initial approach is not what you have in mind I will create a new set. Or I tweak the one you like, prepare color variations and send a new sample.
4. We repeat steps 1 to 3 until we find the one you like.
5. I make the final touches, final color changes and any other tweaks.
6. You approve the design.
7. I prepare the files for printing, according to the specifications provided.
8. I send you the files after receiving the final payment.
Timeline
The time to design stationary depends on how fast we communicate as I depend on your feedback to create each new design. Samples are usually sent within 1 - 2 business days after receiving the initial briefing or the feedback. As an average, letterhead designs are ready within 1 week.
Deliverables
I work with Adobe Illustrator. The final source file will be an AI or EPS file. I will provide JPG and PDF for visualization during the design process and a PDF, EPS or high resolution JPG for professional printing (according to the printing requirements) and any other image format you might need.
